Human beings exist to solve problems. I thought that this phrase would pre-exist my thoughts as I began to write this article. So I searched and Google answered, “It looks like there aren’t many great matches for your search.”

So I am claiming Copyright on this phrase, “Human beings exist to solve problems”, as my original work. © Copyright 2022. All Rights Reserved.

Whether I can or not is likely moot, but I may as well claim it.

Thing is, I firmly believe that “Human beings exist to solve problems”, (© Copyright 2022. All Rights Reserved.) and that statement is partly the inspiration for a pedagogical model and a series of nine learning programs.

The programs have been designed to be universally relevant, regardless of the student’s age or circumstances.

The fulcrum of the programs is the “problem that has to be solved.”

Given that problems are infinitely variable, the nature and complexity of the problems are carefully aligned with the student’s level of experience and intellect.

This approach to learning delivers truly powerful outcomes for all involved.

The programs have been delivered to young cohorts between 10-years and 16-years-of-age.

The fulcrum concept is well proven.

We now await innovative CEOs and senior managers to grasp the potential to apply the learning approach in organizational settings as a means to identify staff who have the greatest potential to be future leaders.

A helpful by-product of the “experiential fulcrum” is that the gnarliest of challenging problems get solved.

Skills Studio is partnering with SEVENmile Ltd to deliver the programs to Australian schools.

I welcome inquiries from organizational leadership that is searching for high-impact learning programs.
