SKILLS STUDIO’s education innovation is transitioning from a formula-based process designed for the average student to an individualized assessment, with motivation and success measurements tailored for every participant.
My name’s Greg Twemlow. I’m the founder and designer of THE SKILLS STUDIO.
The Studio comprises three interdependent modules.
- A pedagogical model defining nine crucial life skills shown in the graphic behind me
- At the heart of the Studio is an experiential Learner-Powered Assessment© tool owned by the learner. It’s an individualized, social, and engaging way of assessing and a platform for personal growth.
- nine proven high-impact experiential learning programs
Our Assessment process is experiential for learners. It’s practical for students, parents, teachers, team leaders, and business managers because it’s a tool that empowers people to become conscious of their skills profile and then fully engage in developing their skills.
Each of the nine skills has three behavioral traits enabling assessment based on the extent to which the traits are demonstrated.
Asking peers, managers, parents, or teachers to complete the assessment helps make the process a formative experience.
One of the outcomes is that people of all ages appreciate they can define their interests — a vital aid to planning how to navigate life.
